Darren Tate Diary July / August 2008
Dear friends,
It's once again been a very busy summer. I've just had the pleasure of returning from playing the
Sunrise Festival along with
Tiesto, Armin, Pete Tong and many others and what a phenomenal festival it was. An outdoor event on absolutely massive scale thanks so much to all of those whose specially traveled to hear me spin. I will be finally returning to the decks in London this month at the
414 club in Brixton, 12th June so make sure you head on down it should be a fun party.
As some of you may have noticed a few new productions have been popping up on my various MySpace pages. As part of the forthcoming
Horizons 02 EP release later this summer (which will consist of
"On The 7th Day" amongst other singles) I'm pleased to announce a new progressive-trancer featuring Pippa
"I Would Die For You" complete with the original and more commercial
Jurgen Vries mix. You can check out the original at www.myspace.com/djdarrentate.
In other production news
Destination with some absolutely massive new mixes including
Above & Beyond, Mark Etesson and other top names will soon be out on promo so keep your eyes peeled. And I'm pleased to announce that the follow-up single from
"Perfect World" will be
"As The Days Grow Old", which will contain some stunning new mixes. Expect some seriously tear jerking moments because this is an emotional killer.
Dale Corderoy and I are also just finalising the much anticipated follow up to
Mondo Sessions 001 – we'll be revealing the exciting new track list full of fabulous new recordings shortly.
On a completely different tip I'm rather to pronounce that I've just completed my first major work for symphony orchestra and choir entitled
"Somewhere In Time" which we'll be recording live later this summer. More about that to follow.
