'Utopia' is the brand new product of the up and coming talents of two classically trained female vocalists, songwriters and producers Cat Llewelyn and Bex Hazard (aka: Zirenz) who's exciting trance and house projects have been stoking a lot of interest in the dance scene.
Written and produced by the duo and superbly engineered by Dave Parkinson, 'Utopia' is a fresh unique trance vocal sound that fuses a mixture of opera style cross-over vocals with euphoric overtures of trance. Sweeping atmospheric pads, lush synths, a throbbing kick drum layered with percussion and the bubbling bass move alongside the soft seductive voice of Cat through to a chorus of vocal bliss with a true melodic hook as the track builds to an overdose of pure spine-tingling euphoric trance. Then along comes Gavyn Mytchel's pumping reworking with its progressive, techy vibe which takes things to epic proportions.
